Skin Tags are benign. They are common, especially as a person ages, and don’t cause any harm.

Skin tags tend to develop when the skin rubs together causing friction, the most common areas are, armpits, thighs, eyelids and neck, and are more common in people living with overweight and obesity who have folds of skin. some skin tags can be unsightly and will grow with time. Spider naevi represent swollen blood vessels also known as telangiectasia under the surface of the skin.

Spider Naevi are more common in women. Many pregnant women, or women using hormonal contraception, have spider angiomas, due to high estrogen levels in their blood.

They are small and circular and may bleed if they are rubbed or scratched and often grow with natural ageing. 70% of people have Cherry Angiomas . Often they grow on the legs, arms, torso face and back. Cherry Angioma do not go away on there own, you would need to seek professional advice to find the best procedure to remove them.

Telangicetasia

Telangicetasia is a condition characterised by a group or lines of dilated capillaries.

The capillaries are tiny vessels that connect arterioles and venules. Facial red veins (Telangicetasia) are commonly occurring skin blemishes that are very receptive to diathermy treatment. Given the facial region which this blemish occurs, many people feel embarrassed by the condition as they may have difficulty dealing with a skin condition which is difficult to conceal. During time if left they lose their elasticity, becoming permanently dilated and darker in appearance as they become wider and deeper.

Milia

Milia are tiny, white, raised blemishes, usually occurring on the face.
